The following represent the Honors seminars I have taught at Arkansas State University. These seminars, specially designed as interdisciplinary so as to appeal to a variety of student interests, represent upper-level courses that students may elect to fulfill Honors requirements. The ASU Honors Program tries to schedule at least two special upper-level seminars each semester, in addition to the general education Honors classes, and limits the size of these seminars to no more than twenty students.

 Kandinsky: Coulour Studies

The Baroque in Literature, Visual Art, and Music

Tragedy and Tragic Form

The Western Religious Experience

Horror Literature and Film: the Psychological Attraction

(also called "Our Love for the Scary")

    Defining Genius
