The following strategies should help you in studying for this exam:

Refer to the Syllabus for BIOL 1003 to remind yourself as to what topics were covered during the course of the semester.  Review the chapter summaries entitled STUDY KEY CONCEPTS  and SUMMARY WITH KEY TERMS in the textbook (i.e., Asking about Life, 3rd edition; 2005, by Tobin and Dusheck).

Review the glossary at the end of the textbook (pages G-1 to G-28) for terms and definitions.

Review your lecture notes and handouts from class AND the online notes (also available by visiting http://www.clt.astate.edu/mhuss/)  available through the internet.

If you have any questions, I will be available at my office (LSE 317) at the following times and days:

  • Tuesday, April 25 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Thursday, April 27 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

This would be a good opportunity for you to drop by my office to ask me questions and to look at the answer keys and copies of the first three lecture exams.  I can also respond to some questions by email at mhuss@astate.edu.
