Through days of longing I see
The heaviest burdens of endless wait

I, as the desert dweller
In search of oasis to swim
I, as the lone falconer
My bird has lost to stronger scream

To build a home, my home

I, as the lone peasant
In search of life and livin'
I, as the forsaken prince
In search of throne and queen

The flowers grow wild and free
Dark and light their battles win
