Newspaper Project

Task 1:   Read the front cover of a newspaper.

Task 2:    Identify the name of the newspaper and the date you read it.

Task 3:    Identify all front page stories

                 Provide a story slug:  A slug is a one word description of a story.

                 Measure the column inches of each story.

                 Identify who the sources were in the story

                 Identify the race of the sources if you can tell

                        Caucasion

                        African American

                        Asian

                        Hispanic

                        Other

                 Indicate whether the story is accompanied by a picture.

                 Indicate whether a web story accompanies the story.
