About the lab activities..... Monday lab sessions will be dedicated to completing the assigned stained blood film case studies (referred to as ‘diffs”). You will need to average three “diffs” per week. In order to take advantage of the bonus points (explained in grading and evaluation strategies), you will have to come in at times other than the designated lab time to complete this assignment. The instructor also reserves the option to change lab activities. If such changes are made, they will be announced in advanced and lab procedure provided.

01     One major lab exam (100 points). This will be given at the end of
         the semester.
02    40 Case Studies (stained blood film evaluations) to be completed over the
semester. Each case study is 20 points (with a maximum total of 800 points).
        A.     In order to complete this assignment in a timely manner, you must
turn in a minimum of three completed case studies each week.
        B.     A 50 point bonus will be awarded to those students who complete
their 40 case studies and turn them in the week before the fall break.
        C.     All case study reports must be completed (front and back) using the
