Over the years I have taken thousands of photographs of objects and sites that I teach. As time permits, I am assembling archives of these images. My colleagues in teaching are invited to make non-commercial use of these images in their teaching. Commercial use of these images is strictly forbidden without prior permission from William Allen.

Since my aim is to share with fellow teachers, I am including little commentary with the images. I will generally assume that my colleagues know the sites as well or better than I do. Should you have a question about a particular image, write and I will try to answer your question.

The initial images that appear here will be those that are already in digital form. Again as time permits, I will add to the archive by digitizing prints and slides.
