Classwork (The Instructor's Expectations for each student)

The following is offered so that the student may better understand the functions and operation of this course. This is what is expected of each student:

I. Daily Work

(1) Consult the schedule for readings and assigments.

(2) Check the class Yahoo Groups! message board DAILY for posting or answering questions. There may also be important announcements from the class instructor.

II. Weekly Work

There will be weekly assignments and/or practice tests. Consult the schedule to see what assignments need to be mailed and postmarked on specific dates.

III. Announced Help Sessions

Help sessions will be offered, when requested, by the class instructor in a chatroom at the Yahoo Groups! website. Anyone registered in the class may attend these chat sessions. In fact, the chat sessions do not necessarily need to be initiated or attended by the professor. If you would like to chat, email the class message board and announce that there will be a chat session at a certain time and date. Treat the chat sessions as a study group where you can interact with other members of the class.

IV. Two Exams will be given on campus

A Midterm Exam and Final Exam will be administered at an annouced time (see schedule). Make sure you have made arrangements to be on campus these two days. Failure to take one of these exams at the posted date will result in either your withdrawal from the course or an F. Make sure you take the practice exams before taking these tests. The practice exams will orient you to the type of questions you will find on the "real" exam. It will also give your teacher a last minute chance to remedy any problems you may have.
