Tiger Time for Stanley is the story of a boy who thinks that his cat is too boring and wants a tiger.  Stanley loves his cat, Elise, but she sleeps too much.  So, he compares Elise’s qualities to the actions a tiger.  In the end, Stanley decides that a tiger would be too much trouble and he would rather keep Elise.  The illustrations are colorful and correlate nicely with the print.  This would be a nice book to use when making comparisons.
