Adventure with a little history is the best way to describe the newest addition to Gutman’s baseball card adventure series. This adventure begins whenever Stosh, the main character, touches a baseball card.  He is transported into the time era of the player on the card.  Since Abner Doubleday is the possible inventor of baseball, Stosh wants to go back in time, meet Abner, and find out the truth behind this long-lived myth. When Stosh goes back in time, he finds himself right in the middle of the Battle at Gettysburg!  Now he must learn to fight quickly to save his own life.  This adventurous story tells many events that could have happened at Gettysburg but are not factual.  (Trade Book)
