Max and Pinky are best buds in this humorous story of an unusual friendship between a boy and pig. Every Saturday is Adventure Day for these two pals, but one Saturday Pinky is missing! Max searches everywhere for his friend before finding Pinky stuffing himself with marshmallows. The bold lines and bright colors make this story fun and enjoyable. Children will love the silly conversations between the two friends. The dialogue, however, is a little advanced. The cartoon pictures provide an explanation of the simple text. (Trade Book)
