Before reading this book, I didn’t know anything about the American Revolution. The war was a major event in the 1700’s. The things that happened during that war so long ago have made things the way they are today in our country, America. The war took place before George Washington was President, but he was a war hero! You can also learn about life in the colonies, why the Declaration of Independence was written, and what life was like during the war. This book really taught me a lot and I think you can learn a thing or two from it also. (Trade Book)
