As Far As the Eye Can Reach is an adventurous story of Lewis and Clark’s journey across the unexplored territory west of the Mississippi River. This historical expedition took place in the early eighteen hundreds by order of President Jefferson. The book takes the reader on the two thousand mile journey across the wild continent of North America which had never been explored by white men. This is a great chapter book to learn about the Lewis and Clark’s expedition due to the author’s creative way in making the journey visual for the reader. This would be an excellent addition book to add to the social studies/history curriculum. (Trade Book)
