Arthur and the Minimoys begins when Arthur, a ten-year-old boy,  has to move in with his grandma while his parents look for work.  His grandpa disappeared four years earlier and Arthur starts to look through his grandpa’s belongings hoping to find clues to his disappearance.  Arthur does find clues which send him on an adventure.  The book ends with Arthur and two new friends in the middle of their adventure.  There is a sequel to this book which is a must read!  Descriptions such as:  “Two large blue eyes under rebellious red bangs stared back at him with a look that was as mischievous as a young fox”, help bring this book to life for the reader.  This book is well suited for young dreamers with creative imaginations.  (Trade Book)

Arthur and the Minimoys is an exciting and enchanting book for young adolescents.  Arthur is an adventurous and creative ten-year-old boy who is always coming up with wild and exciting adventures.  Arthur stays with his grandmother while his parents look for jobs.  While Arthur is there his missing grandfather’s archenemy has them evicted.  Now, Arthur finds himself having to search for not only his grandfather, but also his grandfather’s hidden treasure.  This book is sure to spark young adolescents imaginations and creativity.  Be sure to look for the sequel, Arthur and the Forbidden City.  (Trade Book)
