The wonderful uplifting story created by Butler is one which will keep the reader wanting to see what was going to happen next.  Alexandra Hopewell has always been a bit irresponsible, but she feels that now it is time for all that to change.  She has decided to convince her mother to let her by her labor coach.  The emotions demonstrated by

Alexandra Hopewell are feelings to which many children at this age can relate.  However, caution should be used when selecting this book due to the graphic language combined with a vivid birth scene.  (Trade Book)
