Denise Fleming has once again delivered a winner! The hungry mouse from Lunch returns to construct each letter of the alphabet. The illustrations are colorful and contain abstract and concrete ideas. The mouse constructs each letter using a different technique that corresponds to that letter, i.e. A is airbrushing. The book concludes with mouse completing the alphabet on time and a work schedule showing the days on which each letter was constructed. This is a great alphabet book to use in a unit on construction. (Trade Book)
