Very Boring Alligator came to play one day and would not go away. The little girl huffed, sighed, begged and moaned but Very Boring Alligator would not go away. She called the cops to take him to jail, but when the cops arrived, they played and laughed with Very Boring Alligator. The girl finally threw everyone out, and now the Very Boring Alligator only comes to play when she says and he leaves when he is asked. The illustrations are wonderful and really help tell the story. The text rhymes at times and shows how upset the girl is. (Trade Book)
