“Tell
me about when you were little.” These are words that every parent hears.
Thiesing has addressed this topic in an endearing book depicting how a mother
relates her life to her daughter. The daughter soon realizes that she is just
like her mother in many ways. The
illustrations depict both the mother and child doing the same type of things
from infancy until young childhood. The design is similar to a photo album with
the mother’s photographs done in black and white and the daughter’s
photographs in color. The illustrations add to the “then and now” concept
being projected throughout the text. This book is perfect for lap-reading with
your little one. (Paperback)
