Baked Pork Chops
Pork chops are an old family standard that is typical midwestern American farm fare. This particular recipe is one that Lynn seems to always have known. (I don't know, maybe she was born with it already implanted in her brain.) When we started dating in the late 1970s I remember being impressed with how fast she could make something great for dinner (and often from my bare cabinets).
Lynn Carlton
3 min. preparation, 20 min. baking
1-2 chops per person

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. sprinkle pork chop with garlic salt and oregano, place on grill in aluminum lined pan, surround with onions, seal top with aluminum foil, and bake until done (usually 45 min. to 1 hr., 15 min.)
IMPORTANT: Pork must never be served rare as it often contains dangerous bacteria. Overcook slightly to be safe.
