Unfortunately, the head of the Library has cancelled this function. The Student Request program for books is incredibly limited, a fact that has NEVER been communicated to the students. Your Library Fee produces roughly $1 MILLION dollars of revenue, earmarked for various functions within the Library (presumably), but only $10,000 of it is earmarked for student book requests. At roughly $50 average price per book... well, do the math. In addition he has arbitrarily set a $1000 limit per department, per year. Any requests in excess of that amount will not be filled. Any student who ordered books dealing with the history of medicine or the history of Latin America in the last year and a half - your orders have been frozen and will not be filled.
