Troy Thomas, PT, MS
Troy
Thomas joined the Programs in Physical Therapy in May 2000. He received
his Master Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in
1996. After graduation he worked at Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in
Jonesboro, Arkansas and Baptist Memorial Medical Center (BMMC) in North Little
Rock, Arkansas. He served as an adjunct faculty member for the ASU
Programs in Physical Therapy during his time at Healthsouth. He served as
Center Coordinator for Clinical Education at Healthsouth and as a clinical
instructor at both Healthsouth and BMMC. He currently serves as an
instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program where he teaches Clinical
Interactions, Psychosocial Issues, Movement Science II Laboratory, Patient Care
Fundamentals and Neurorehabilitation for the PTA. Troy teaches Medical
Terminology and Introduction to Physical Therapy to the general university
population. He also has duties as the PTA advisor and as the webmaster for
the Programs in Physical Therapy. Troy is currently pursuing a Master in
Public Administration at ASU. He is married (Elizabeth) and has 2 children
(Abbie and Joseph).
