Jackie Gilbert, PT, MPH

Jackie GilbertJackie Gilbert is an Assistant Professor in the Programs in Physical Therapy at Arkansas State University.  Professor Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Tuskegee Institute and a Master of Public Health-Health Administration and Policy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  She has worked in various clinical settings including home health, rehabilitation hospitals, acute care hospitals and school districts.  She has done consultation work with insurance companies in reference to TMD and with academic institutions regarding clinical education and research.  Her professional interests include alternative medicine, women's health, cultural diversity in health and community empowerment regarding health-related issues.  Her personal interests include reading, traveling, swimming, gardening, cooking and studying the Bible.
