A. Kim Collins, PT, GCS
Kim graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in physical
therapy. She has practiced in Arkansas since that time. She was the Director of
Physical Therapy at Methodist Hospital of Jonesboro (now Regional Medical Center
of NEA) until June 1998. While a clinician, her focus was geriatrics and wound
care. She joined the faculty of Arkansas State University in June 1998 as an
instructor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. She is presently the
Director of Clinical Education. Kim is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical
Specialist as well as an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Her research
interests include women's health, adult day care centers and clinical education.
She has an in-process project concerning incontinence titled Health Care
Professionals' Knowledge of the Treatment of Urinary Incontinence. Kim is presently continuing
her education at the University of Arkansas Little Rock in
the Masters of Public Administration program.
