The ultimate goal of this site is to provide information to the students taking classes I teach at Arkansas State University. It may also serve to provide potential students with some insight into the programs offered through the Department of Health, Physical Education and Sport Sciences. Beyond that, if any wayfarer should happen to land on the site, I also have included some links to sites that I have found interesting, useful, or humorous. Most importantly, I hope anyone landing here learns something, because that's my business. It's easy to say that learning is a lifelong process, and it has become popular to say that learning needs to be fun. But as I'm sure any serious student of life has discovered, learning isn't always fun and oftentimes it is incredibly challenging. I've had some great teachers along the way, starting with my parents, particularly my Mom, and including teachers too numerous to mention from the public school and the state university systems in Illinois, along with my most recent mentors at Oklahoma State University and Arkansas State University. I'm lucky to have had so many people help me along the way and I hope this site helps you in some way.
