I would like for you to go into your closest, and look for all the branded products that you wear.   Identify the number of pants, shirts, dresses, suits, shoes, and other clothing accessories that have some form of insignia on them (EX.   the swoosh with nike.   Give me a count of each type of clothing that has some logo on it and the brand name for that logo.  ie

shoes

nike 3 pairs

reebok 2 pairs

shirts

polo 3

liz claiborne 5

Then answer the follow questions

Now explain the importance of branded clothing to you.  

Why do you buy clothing which has a brand name on it?  Or, why do you choose not to buy branded clothing.

Do you feel more important when you wear the branded clothing?    

Does race and gender have anything to do with how important branded clothing is to you?  How so?  

Do you believe your socioeconomic status has anything to do with the purchase of branded clothing?  How so?  

Do you feel more pressure to where branded clothes than you did in high school?  How so?
