The following are examples of Likert Statements for a study about political advertising and news programming.

 

Political advertising survey

Instructions: The following statements deal with political ads and use of ads in television newscast. Below each statement is a scale. Please circle the number that best represents how you feel about the statement. Please rate the following statements on a six point scale: 1) strongly disagree 2) moderately disagree 3) mildly disagree 4) mildly agree 5) moderately agree 6) strongly agree.

Example: The sun comes up in the East.
