NEW:Test Anxiety and Math Anxiety Screening
Test Anxiety and Math Anxiety are common phenomenon for many students. It is estimated that 20% of college students experience test anxiety and approximately 25% may experience math anxiety.  It is normal and healthy to feel some anxiety before an exam or about a specific subject. Many students complain of knowing the material and then going blank when they take the test or go to do math or statistical copulations. However, when anxiety begins to affect exam and academic performance it has become a problem.
The ASU Counseling Center is offering informal screenings for Test Anxiety and Math Anxiety.  The screenings will be Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.  These informal screenings are computerized and take approximately 10 minutes.  The screenings will be available in the Counseling Center, Suite 2203,Student Union, next to the ASU bookstore and at Center Court, Student Union.
For more information, contact the ASU Counseling Center at 972-2318.
