New at the Department of Languages
The
Department of
Languages is embracing the new frontiers of globalization as it welcomes
a new Chair, new faculty, and new offerings, including courses in
Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Swahili, in addition to French, German,
and Spanish. The department also offers a minor in International Studies
that includes an upper-level language component combined with selected
courses from the humanities and social sciences as well as other areas.
The Department of Languages is truly committed to ushering in a new era
of language studies at ASU. We want to encourage everyone to stop
by our offices in 220 Wilson to find out about the many opportunities
the department offers, even for those with no previous foreign language
experience.
