-
As a team, work on Section A of the final
exam (Exam 3) from Fall 1999. You are to turn in
your work for grading on Wednesday, 6/28. This will be available
to be picked up by 3:00 that afternoon, and you will be expected apply
the feedback when you take this semester's final exam. Note that
only one copy is to be submitted per team for this
assignment, although you will need to do the work individually
on the final exam itself
-
Print and try to work through the "Associative
Forecasting Exercise" which is available through the Handouts
page at the course web site. This is a bivariate analysis, so (as
with any such analysis) start with a scatterplot, then generate the
appropriate regression information, and then use that to address the
question at hand. You will be required to complete the exercise
individually and turn in your work on Thursday before you
take the final exam.
-
Read Chapter 10 of the text, but do not try to work the
exercises, either in the text or in the study guide. Instead, print
and bring to class the "Materials Requirements
Planning Exercise", to include any related
exhibits. In case you hadn't guessed, this is available through
the Handouts page at the course web site. No other prior work is
required on this, as the case description and exhibits are intended to
be the basis of an in-class exercise and discussion.
