Art
scholarships are awarded by competition through the Department
of Art. Each tuition award is renewable for up to seven additional
consecutive semesters, contingent upon successful annual portfolio
review. Scholarships are offered to outstanding students with
demonstrated artistic ability and academic success. A scholarship
recipient must follow a recommended course sequence each semester
to retain the scholarship.
The recipient must:
(1) show progress each semester toward completing a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art, Graphic Design, or Art
Education at ASU - Jonesboro;
(2) maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.25 in Art and 3.0
overall;
(3) complete at least twelve semester hours, including at
least six semester hours in Art each semester. An out-of-state
scholarship recipient will be responsible for the difference
between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
