The Fund for American Studies, associated with Georgetown University, has three summer Live, Learn, and Intern programs featuring coursework and an internship in Washington: one on comparative political and economic systems, a second on business and government relations, and third in political journalism; several former students have participated and enjoyed and benefited from the experience. Greenpeace has an international study program for students interested in environmental activism. Enhance your college experience by participating in ASU's Honors College. ASU is a member institution in the National Student Exchange which provides a means for studying for a semester or two or a whole year at one of 180 universities in the US and Canada paying ASU tuition etc. or in-state rates at the NSE institution; there are also some ways to access international universities through NSE institutions. The Student Conservation Association has internships, at least some of them paid, for students in a variety of disciplines. Study in the Middle East through an ASU grant program. Harry Truman Scholarships, worth $30,000, for those planning careers in public service. Rotary Scholarships for study and travel abroad. |
