16 July 2009: One of those days

Did you ever have one of those daMt. Olga firetowerys? When you drive 45 miles over to the Mazda dealer in Keene-- because two days earlier when you had a little dead time in Burlingtion you took your car to a quickie oil change place and they spotted what they saw as an oil leak from the transmission--to have the car checked out and, then, while the car was being worked on, you took a bike ride through Keene, including bits of a nice town railtrail, and find out, just after the service department told you that there is no problem with the car, that you have punctured the rear tire on your bike, which you then refill with air and start riding back to the dealership, but then you have to dump the bike because the puncture is that bad, and then you walk to pick up your car and drive back to pick up your bike, then you drive to Brattleboro to have a new inner tube installed (where the bike mechanic also finds that the rear wheel is way out of true), and so you leave your bike there to be fixed, and then you drive to Molly Stark State Park in Wilmington to hike Mt. Olga, even though there's a 65% chance of thundershowers, but the sky at the summit is blue and the sun is warm, and so you lie out for an hour, taking in the rays and reading a good book?
