As a teacher, a nursing clinician and a scholar, I am always looking for resources that provide useful information. The resources I have gathered represent my own professional interests, but might be useful to other teachers, clinicians and students. Select an area of interest on the bottom of the screen to discover if any of these resources are beneficial to you. New to the Web? Need help with the Internet? Here's a site
with basic and useful information: The Hardin Library at the University of Iowa webpage is rich in resources for health topics. Students, teachers, and clinicians will find something of interest. For their Meta Directory of Internet Resources, click on this link: http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/hardin/md/ Another website that is a rich resource of information about health care and medicine is Medscape. You can find news, articles and a search feature on their site: http://www.medscape.com
Interested in nursing's image in the media? The Center for Nursing Advocacy is very interested in changing the image of nursing in the media. Check out their website: http://www.nursingadvocacy.org
If you have or find links that you think would be helpful and would increase the benefits of these resource pages, please e-mail the link to me. Thank you! |
