Many of my prints have been about labyrinths, or about experiences that evoke ideas of labyrinths.

A labyrinth describes a journey. A labyrinth may be a metaphor for a lifetime -- beginning somewhere -- ending somewhere. It is a mystery.

Traveling through a labyrinth presents opportunities to choose one path over another. As a labyrinthine journey unfolds, one new mystery opens in place of another. Portions of a journey through a labyrinth may be retained in memory, but the entire journey cannot be captured in one glance.

My engraving, Journey, describes part of a journey. The details of the journey may be lost, but the journey continues.
