I made this print for a friend.

My good friend, a Mr. Hajda, described his grandfather as a proper professional man.

Long ago, a famous artist offered to bring in a work of art in exchange for professional services rendered. So Grandfather Hajda agreed to look at a painting.

The architect, whose name was Friedensreich, brought in a Vienna bent wood chair that had been painted to look like it was on fire with people swimming in it.

Grandfather Hajda was horrified! He told Friedensreich that he would settle the account for money, not for art.

Grandfather Hajda had turned down a work of art thought to be worth about $6,000 in exchange for a debt equivaent to $25.
