Carl Lindquist works in the International Programs Office at Arkansas State University. His duties include managing the study abroad program, assisting in the recruitment of South Asian students, and advising government-sponsored foreign students. Recently he was selected for NAFSA Academy, representing Region 3.
|

When he's not in the International Programs Office, he's working on projects for the Heritage Studies Ph.D. Program. He has two home towns: Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Bangalore, India. He is married to Pavitra Kalappa, a native of Mysore, India.

|
Carl Lindquist earned the bachelor's degree in philosophy from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and the Master of Arts in Art History degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
He also studied philosophy and art history at the Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven in Belgium and at the University of Malta. |

At Hamline University, he completed the program for teaching English as a foreign language.
