Dolly/Dali, six years old, July 29, 2007

|
| Another day of excitement. Dolly opened her birthday package, found a new squeaky toy and immediately began playing with it. As usual, she destroyed the toy's squeaker within 30 seconds. |

She went outdoors and chased away a few squirrels. Dali is disgusted by the sight of squirrels. When last seen, the squirrels were scampering up into the pergola to hide behind the sunflowers.
When she's indoors, the squirrels enjoy teasing her by coming close to the window to sit, eat, preen, and just generally thumb their noses at her.
