Dolly gets a kiss from Sharon
Dolly loves her grooming sessions. Whenever she returns from a walk, she paws at her grooming table, begging her Momma Sharon for another brushout. A brushout session might last anywhere from 10 minutes to about 30 minutes.
Our Miss Beautiful hates having leaves, sticks, and other kinds of debris stuck in her coat. She enjoys being the center of attention while being brushed.
Near the end of the session, Sharon presents a tray filled with barrettes and hair bows so that Dolly can select the next one for herself. Dolly sniffs around among the bows on the tray and carefully picks up the one she wants to wear.

Right: Once each week, Dolly/Dali goes to a "beauty shop" for an extra grooming session. She began seeing Veronica on her second day with us.

Veronica makes fancy bows and ribbons and makes certain that Dolly is well-decorated when she returns home.
The photo at right was made april 25, 2006, after her session with Veronica.
