AGRI 3203 - ANIMAL AND PLANT METABOLISM

COURSE INFORMATION. 

AGRI 3203.001, TR 9:30 - 10:45, ROOM 203. 

Description: The study of biochemicals and metabolic processes and their role in the production of domestic animals and agronomic plants. Prerequisites: CHEM 1013 and 1022, BIOL 1001 and 1003

This course will be team taught by Drs. Kennedy and Pittcock. This syllabus is for Dr. Kennedy only and represents the first ½ of the semester.

MAKEUP EXAM POLICY:: Only students with legitimate (illness, family emergency, university/college-sponsored events, etc.) reasons for missing an exam will be allowed to make up a regular exam. If an illness caused the student to miss an exam then the student must provide a doctor's excuse and make up the exam within one week from the date the exam was administered. If a student will be missing an exam because of an ASU-SPONSORED activity, they must notify the instructor at least one week prior to the date of the exam to make arrangements for a make up. Students who do not follow these guidelines can only make up an exam by taking a comprehensive exam during the last week of classes. Note, these policies will be strictly adhered to and enforced.

Course Requirements

Two one-hour exams (200 points)

6 Short Quizzes to be taken on Blackboard (60 points)

One final exam (comprehensive) (100 points).

Total 350

Grading Scale: 90-100 = A, etc.
