ANSC 3613 - NUTRITIONAL MANAGEMENT OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS
CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Principles of animal nutrition, composition, digestibility of feeds, balanced rations, and feeding of farm animals. Prerequisite: ANSC 1613.

***Students are strongly encouraged to answer Chapter Goals at the beginning of each chapter and the Study Questions and Problems at the end of each chapter.

MAKEUP EXAMS : Only students with legitimate (illness, family emergency, university/college-sponsored events...) reasons for missing an exam will be allowed to make up exams. If an illness caused the student to miss an exam then the student must provide a doctor’s excuse and make up the exam within one week from the date the exam was administered. Students who do not follow these guidelines will not be allowed to make up the exam and will receive a zero for the exam missed.

** Students should read ahead in their textbook amd ready to discuss the subject matter in the next class period.

*** This syllabus is subject to change at the discretion of the instructor. Students will be notified of changes.
All quizzes will be taken in the laboratory, which is Monday afternoon. Students who skip Monday’s lecture will not be allowed to take the quiz scheduled for that day.
