The class period after each guest speaker, you have a writing assignment due. This is to be a one page, typed report on the guest speaker's presentation. The first 50-70% of the paper should be some kind of summary of what the speaker tried to inform you of with some kind of outline of the main topics or ideas. In other words, what was it about, what did you do, what did you learn?
The last part of the paper should be your personal reaction to the presentation. What did you learn that was particularly interesting? Or what was done or said that you had some emotional connection with? What did you particularly like about the presentation, or what didn't you like, or how will the presentation be of benefit to you in the future?
