Note: There are two systems for registration,  1) through the graduate school, and 2) through Center for Regional Programs.  Either way you will need to be admitted to the University.
Also there are two levels of courses and registration, 1) Graduate,  and 2) Undergraduate. 


Graduate Level Entry/Admission

IF NOT YET ADMITTED OR ENROLLED  IF CURRENTLY ADMITTED OR ENROLLED 

1. If not admitted to ASU, complete the application required for admission to ASU (visit the ASU website and to download) and return it with your fee for registration. (you can use the form provided thru  the Off -Campus Programs Office -- Center for Regional Programs)

Phone number for graduate office: 1-877-278-4723 (toll free - but cannot be transferred to another department).

2. Request official transcripts from all college experiences be sent to the ASU Graduate School. 

(If you are an ASU Graduate then ASU transcripts will be requested internally)

3. Fill out or review the registration worksheet found in the current semester schedule, to determine which classes you will take. 

4. Contact an advisor (David Agnew-870-972-2087) and discuss schedule of courses so that the "automatic hold" on registration can be removed and you can register.

5. Contact ASU by phone (870-972-3916) to register by phone or  you can also register over the web.

6. Show up for the first session. (even if paperwork has not cleared by first class session come to class.)

3. Contact ASU by phone to register by phone (870-972-3916).

Note: A statement of selective service status form must be signed by all males ages 18-25. This form must be returned to the graduate school prior to registration.  A written proof of measles and rubella immunization must be submitted to the graduate school if your date of birth is January 1957 or later. This immunization must have been received after the first birthday and after January 1, 1968.

 

 

Note: If you have been admitted to graduate school and you have not enrolled in the last year you must submit an up-dated application to the graduate school in order for your file to be reactivated.

Register through The Center for Regional Programs.

Go to the Center for Regional Programs  for information or to download a copy of their application (actually two forms) with instructions click here  (Acrobate required).  You will need to follow the same rules or guidelines for admission to the University if you plan to enroll through the Center for regional Programs. See notes above for details about shot and service record requirements. 


Undergraduate Entry/Admission

The best approach is to go to the webpage for the admission's office and download the application and directions on how to be admitted and follow their instructions.  

Contact David Agnew (870-972-2087) after being  admitted and discuss schedule so that the " automatic hold" on registration can be removed and you can register.

You can then register by phone (870-972-3916)  or over the web http://registrar.astate.edu/  (go to the bottom of the page and for web registration option).
