History of Agriculture
at
Arkansas State University

Purpose: The purpose of this project is to document the history of the College of Agriculture by charting its growth from an agriculture school in 1909 to a separate department of Arkansas State University. The journey from an agriculture high school to a respected College of Agriculture has been interesting and this project hopes to help the public better understand the events and people
that were pivotal in the development.
