Our Mission:    To provide educational resources and promote approaches to learning which help educators and students in grades PreK-12 to better understand the interrelationships between agriculture, the environment and people of the world. Our Vision:      A future in which all people recognize the interdependence of agriculture, the environment and human  needs; and work cooperatively to promote informed consumer choices and sustainable agricultural practices.

Wow! Have you seen the second edition of the Food Land People educational materials? What a terrific resource for our educators across this country. Again, FLP, while remaining true to its original mission, is leading the way
toward agriculture literacy.
NAEE Recommends FLP
A report using the North American Association for Environmental Education’s (NAAEE) Environment Education Materials: Guidelines for Excellence, concluded that FLP’s resources for learning followed the guidelines for excellence very well in six key areas for evaluating materials. This confirms that he curriculum is balances indepth and user friendly.
