Guidelines for Assignments 
All assignments, unless discussed with the instructor, should be submitted by email or over the web via Blackboard.

All emails regarding this class should have in the subject line the "course prefix" (ex... VOED 5533),  then "your name" followed by the" name of the assignment" or purpose of email.

Note:  The dates to return to campus are tentative  My preference is to do the presentation in week 4 not week 5.   There will be no reason to return to campus after these presentations.  The final will be over Blackboard or administered at the end of the time allowed for the presentations.

Suggestions for Using Blackboard
You will need to create an account on Black Board if you do not currently have one.   Begin by clicking on the Bb icon above.  Then select create an account.  I do want to have your school and home address, phone numbers, etc... Red * are required fields.  You must have email address that you can use.   After you create account and sign in for this course I am required to officially admit you to the Bb portion of the course.  In Bb you will complete quizzes, and other activities.

Jobtrak - "The nations leading job listing service" - A good resource for job search tips. This site has a job search guide that gives different processes for finding a job - from networking, to designing your resume, to negotiating your salary. There is an Occupational Outlook Handbook, a personality test, and a salary calculator here. There is also a "city snapshot" section where you can compare cost of livings, climates, and demographics. The students and alumni section has a nice recruiters section that "represent some of the nation's most active recruiters". The employers page has an "index to colleges" that lets you search and locate collegs by major, state, enrollment, or keyword. The "resource center" in the college career staff section has multiple links with other employment-related sites.
