Welcome! We're glad you're interested in participating in our summer camp institute. Our goals:

To improve science pedagogy (including the use of technology) employed by high school teachers |

To improve science and technology learning by students |
|
|
To increase the number of students who go to college |

What? We will explore different areas of science, including technology, using forensic sciences as theme. Our focus this year is on environmental forensics.
Who?
7th- 12th grade science teachers
8th - 12th grade students (entering 8th grade in Fall 08 thru students entering 12th grade in Fall 08),
Parents, and school counselors
When?
Teachers: June 9 - June 13 and June 16 - June 21 (commitment for both weeks is required for teachers)
Students: June 17 - 21
Parents: June 21
Where? Arkansas State University, lodging and meals provided
Will it cost me anything? NO!!! This is a grant-funded project, so we are happy to say it won't cost you anything!
