Toothed Cuban cusk-eel

Common Name:  Toothed Cuban cusk-eel (E).
Etymology: 
dentatus (L) with teeth.
Major Synonyms: 
Stygicola dentatus (original description).
History:  Same as for L. (L.) subterraneus.

Eye Condition:  Eyes not externally visible.
Pigmentation:  Depigmented.

Distribution:  Same as for L. (L.) subterraneus (ca. 21o 50' N, 84o 57' W).

   
Habitat and Ecology:  Same as for L. subterraneus. Found syntopically with L. (L.) subterraneus and L. (L.) teresinarum.   Food and Feeding:  Feeds on cirolanid isopods.
Reproduction and Development:  Viviparous.   Other Behaviors:
