| b. 1874; d. 1969 A well-known aquarist and aquarium writer who received troglomorphic Astyanax fasciatus from C. Basil Jordan. Strongly suspecting that he had a new species in his hands, Innes remitted on November 1936 the specimens together with Jordan’s notes to Carl Leavitt Hubbs. |
