Biographical Background
He obtained his M.D. at the University of New York-Bullevue and did some
postdoctoral work at the University of Wien and the Pasteur Institute. A
practicing physician and a professor of ophthalmology at New York
University.
Involvement
in Hypogean Fish Research
He used the laboratories of the New York Aquarium to study
the histology of the cave Astyanax fasciatus and published an article about it
(Gresser and Breder 1940). |
