FINE ARTS VISUAL EXAM #4
The format for the exam will be multiple choice. On the day of the exam you should bring a #2 pencil with you and your student ID. The exam format will be as follows:
I. NOTE: There will be no definitions on this exam.
Instead you will be asked to identify 19 images.
II. Matching section (5 items; 1 pt. each; 5 pts. total) In this section you
will be shown five images that you have not been shown in this class. Based on
the style of the work you will be asked to identify if it is Baroque, Rococo,
Neoclassical or Romantic.
III, Slide identifications (19 slide identifications; 5 pts. each; 95 pts.
total)
IV. Extra credit (5 pts.)
You should know the patron who commissioned works of art.
You should review Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassical, Romantic, Realist and
Impressionist styles. You should be familiar with the techniques used by Giotto,
Leonardo da Vinci, and Caravaggio. As with the earlier exams, you should know
function, artist (when known), location, medium, and period.
