ADMISSION TO THE NUCLEAR MEDICINE PROGRAM Classes for new nuclear medicine technology students begin in the Fall semester (August) and run for 15 consecutive months. During the 15 month program, students participate in a structured rotation sequence through the nuclear medicine departments of the Methodist Healthcare System in Memphis, TN. To be admitted to the Nuclear Medicine, students must meet one of the requirements listed below:
When both requirements have been met, the Chair of the Department of Radiologic Sciences will formally notify the Office of Admissions & Records and credit will be recorded on the student's transcript for 50 hours of ASU Radiologic Technology courses.

The above criteria are converted to a point system. Selection is competitive and only 6 slots are available.
